I was so grateful for the kindness and care received during such a difficult time. Zowie was incredibly compassionate, flexible, and always there to guide me with thoughtful advice and reassurance. She made everything feel manageable and the funeral went beautifully. I truly couldn’t have asked for better support.

From the very first phone call after losing grandad, we knew as a family that we’d chosen the right funeral home to look after him. Zowie is a credit to the Gillotts Selston team and made a very difficult time that bit easier. It is clear to see that it is more than just a job to her, she genuinely cares. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always on hand to answer any questions we had. She also chose the most perfect celebrant - Helen, who provided a beautiful service. 
Both Zowie and Danni (the Funeral Director) treated my grandad with the utmost respect and although he was adamant he didn’t want a fuss, we know my grandad would have been very happy. Thank you so much x

Couldn't have wished for a better send off for my dad. The entire project was handled so well by the entire team. The service by Chris was amazing. Zowie and all the staff in the office where there for us every step of the way, helping us with anything we needed.
I personally cant thank them enough.

Compassion, empathy and respect for myself and my deceased partner. Well organised.My thanks to Danni, Helen who at the funeral, made me feel special, the pallbearers and driver who looked so smart with their red ties and who had wet conditions to deal with at the graveside.
Also Zowie who has been so patient, helpful, understanding and nothing has been too much trouble.

Gillotts Funeral Directors, what can I say, they arranged everything for me taking all the worry and stress away right from the outset to the very end of the funeral allowing me to mourn in my own time.
I am eternally grateful to Danni and Zowie for being so compassionate and understanding of my needs and for being always available to help when needed.
My sadness and heartache will never go away but at least my dear wife’s funeral went without a hitch and everyone who attended agreed that it was a lovely service.

During one of the most difficult times for our family, the staff (particularly Danni and Zoey) showed exceptional compassion and professionalism. From the very first conversation, they were patient, kind and attentive to every detail. They took the time to explain all options clearly and never made us feel rushed or pressured.
The service was handled with great care and dignity, and everything was organised exactly as promised.
Their support made a painful experience much more manageable, and we are deeply grateful for the respect and empathy they showed.
Our family would highly recommend Gillotts to anyone in need of compassionate and professional care.
