From start to finish we were extremely satisfied and at ease with the way mum and ourselves were looked after. The seamless way made having to sort mums funeral arrangements out much nicer. Everything was perfect. She would have been proud.

Maggie looked after the arrangements for my mum kindly and with respect whilst being practical and patient. Mum had a funeral plan in place and it made the process easier, but Maggie wanted to also get a sense of 'who mum was' and we were able to laugh as well. Considering the branch is short staffed and Maggie is working more hours than she would normally, i was still able to pop in frequently to either make arrangements or see mum. thanks you

All of the staff involved took a great deal of care to ensure that our lovely Dad got the wonderful send off that he deserved and looked after us through a very difficult time. The funeral plans met our needs and everything went smoothly on the day. After the service, some attendees told us that they wanted their funerals to be like that.

Debbie and Laura were amazing. They supported and guided us through  the very emotional planning and organising of our Father’s funeral. They were always available to answer any questions, and kept in touch regularly. The funeral team on the day were very respectful,  and calmly and gently led us through the day. Debbie was extremely supportive, and persistent in trying to get us an earlier slot for our father's funeral.  I needed to be back in SouthAfrica for the Birth of my grandchild.  

The wait for the actual ceremony is far too long in our opinion which I know is not your fault but it needs to be addressed for the people that have lost a loved one.

From the moment I walked into East Leake Funeral Care I was looked after and cared for by Debbie & Laura. They put me at ease, explained everything, helped me with what I had to do & reassured me. They were like old friends but still professional at all times. Nigel too rang me to explain what would happen on the final journey for Pat & asked if I wanted to ask anything & then on the day he was very helpful, friendly and easily approachable. Having to arrange the funeral of a loved one is probably one of the most emotionally difficult events a person will have to face. We chose Co-op funeral care @ East Leake as my Mum had previously worked for the Co-op for many years. I found them to be really excellent - highly professional, very sensitive and understanding, plus the language used when talking about the deceased was extremely respectful and caring. The funeral director on the day (+ the drivers) should also be commended for the dignified way everything was conducted (bowing to the coffin, for example, was a lovely touch). So all in all deserving of a 5 star rating.
