Standard Simple Funeral

Service includes:

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Very clear guidance on how things work and what would happen on the funeral day. Would definitely recommend. Service perfect and just how we wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble

Outstanding service from the beginning to the end. The office staffs were attentive and sensitive but on the day of the funeral the funeral Director could not do enough for us as a family, he was with us every step of the way. They made me feel as if my Nan (Annel) was the most important person in the world.

Darren and the team at Aspley lane all provided an extremely professional service for all aspects of the various roles they provide. The only negative i can think of is the meeting room at Aspley lane was in need of improved decor and better teleconferencing facilities could have been provided with numbers being restricted under covid

Not one cap fits all attitude to funeral arrangements. Darren and his team are culturally aware of the preferences within the diverse community groups that they cater for. Further, Darren, the funeral director, follows through with your wishes for your loved ones when he notices anything that may arise outside of what you originally requested in a timely manner ; your wishes are his personal command!
