Tracey looks after you from start to finish. She is so calm that you do not have to worry about anything. This is the second time we have used her services. Opened on 19th April 2021 Half Crown House on Derby Road is run by funeral arranger Tracey Sweeting-Rowe.
The new funeral home was originally an old bank and was ideal ‘blank canvas’ for a funeral home. It is now fully equipped with two chapels, onsite car park and an extended mortuary. The move follows the need for more space and easy customer access.
The fifth-generation family business first arrived in Stapleford in 2003 as part of the group purchase of the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Group, taking over six funeral homes. Previously located at Parker House on Church Street, the company has since gone above and beyond to help local families through every step of the funeral process, offering support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The office is open Monday to Friday, from 9.00am to 5.00pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm, but can be opened after office hours by appointment or you can speak with a funeral director 24 hours a day by calling the telephone number.
The branch serves all of Stapleford and its surrounding area including Bramcote, Chilwell, Sandiacre, Trowell and further afield.
Nigel Lymn Rose, former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), along with his sister Jackie and son Matthew, manage A.W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Tom Dawkes dealt with us from start to finish quite literally there on the day. He also spoke to my aunty with the upmost care and respect acknowledging early her dementia, especially when she called him asking questions that he had already sorted. The professionalism lymns shown was second to none all the staff could not do enough for you
Tracey in the Stapleford office was outstanding and is a credit to lymns
Matthew on the day of the funeral made everyone feel at ease and relaxed so that everything went to plan, Lymns kept everyone informed all along the way
We even received a call from Matthew Lyme Rose the evening before the funeral to re assure us that everything was in place

I was extremely happy that I decided on Lymn's to do the funeral of my younger brother. Tracey was extremely helpful and compassionate from the day I telephoned and when I went in to discuss all the arrangements. The celebrant Mark was also very compassionate and did a great job reading out Lee's eulogy, and going above and beyond asking if there was anything he could wear that would tie in with Lee. I mentioned that all the men were wearing Adidas trainers, as a memory of Lee, so he asked if he could wear them with his suit too along with a tie pin. Donna was the funeral director for the day and telephoned me in the morning to introduce herself and to make sure I was aware of everything that was going to be happening on the day, and if I needed anything. I can't thank you all enough for all your support during this difficult time, and giving Lee the send off he deserved ❤️
