Everything went smoothly and as planned on the day. There was a little confusion around cost and process of reserving side by side vs. double depth grave.

Everything went so well Julie did everything we discussed, she was always available if I had a question and gave me support. The funeral was just what my husband David wished for. Julie knew Dave and organising it for him as he had requested I am sure it was quite emotional for her but she was very professional and caring. Thank you Julie and Fielders.

Fielders have been our family funeral director for quite a number of years and have taken great care and respect when dealing with things at our times of need , which continued with looking after our mum and arranging all aspects of the funeral with great respect.
The celebrant, Wayne, who came to our home to talk about mum , did a fantastic job with talking about our mum and making a difficult day as best as possible.

At what is inevitably a difficult time, we appreciated their consideration and kindness throughout. Most of us won't have been involved in organising many, if any, funerals. Many thanks again for your services provided for my Dad's funeral (Graham Halfyard), however there are a couple of comments and suggestions I'd like to make.

The appointment that my Mum and I had in the chapel of rest could have been improved. As you may recall, my Mum, Jackie Halfyard, is in a wheelchair and due to the height of the coffin she was unable to see her late husband Graham, which was quite upsetting to see. May I recommend that for any future disabled/wheelchaired clients you cater for them by having the equipment and facilities to lower the coffin for them to view the deceased properly. This minor improvement would be very beneficial in my opinion.

Also, I would have liked to review the celebrant's words before the ceremony, as there were some double ups in what Jo said and what I planned to say at the funeral. Also, the 3rd piece of music although was the correct song, it was only part of it and I requested the whole track, so again, it would have been better to be able to review the music selection before the ceremony.

There are the only two slightly negative comments I'd like to make, but apart from that JG Fielders did a good job and gave my Dad the send-off he deserved.

We cannot recommend them highly enough. From the first meeting and right through to the day they led us all they way and helped us celebrate our mum just as she would have wanted.
Vince went over and above to ensure everything ran smoothly and really listened to our wishes and made what is a terrible time less stressful.
