At such a sad and emotional time as losing a loved one arrangements for a funeral can be daunting. At J G Fielder & Son Pocklington everthing was taken care of by Paul and Julie at the Pocklington office. I was very impressed by the care and understanding taken when I asked for Peter to be buried in Pocklington albeit we lived in Thirsk. A limousine was sent to Thirsk for me and family to taken to the funeral. From start to finish everything was very efficient and carefully planned. I thank everyone who was involved in the arrangements.

From the first phone call, everything was cared for by Kevin & Julie and this made a difficult job a lot more easer, and have someone one the day (Kevin) to keep thing ticking over and on track and when its all over job of settling of accounts for the flowers, obituary's, church, refreshments and donations. was just what is needed when your not at your best.

Extremely professional, caring and sensitive.  Great service from all staff made our difficult and sad time much easier to bear. The attention to detail was superb and ensured that Nora had the best of everything. Nora had taken out a basic funeral cover package and though there was some minor additions to be covered I would recommend this cover to all as it lessens the financial stresses at a time of great changes.
