Darley funeral service was the most caring thing ever in very difficult times Hayley had my family at her for front off her mind. Darleys was always there on the phone or Alfie.
Took a lot off pain off my mum's shoulders with all the arrangements as a family service I can't thank them enough.

Darley Funeral Directors provided an excellent service for our family when we lost my step-father. They are sincere and genuine and their care for bereaved relatives is kind and compassionate. We were grateful for their gentle support during a difficult time, nothing was too much trouble. And would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this service.

I couldn't have wished for a more professional, efficient, helpful and comforting funeral director for my father.All staff were amazing and went above and beyond my expectations.....I can't find the words to describe how thankful I am for the service and care they gave......I received lots of comments such as..... it was a lovely service for him , me and my Mum thought the Funeral Directors did an Amazing job , we were especially impressed by the young man , he was faultless, he was very engaging with the mourners , giving us all a reassuring smile at such a sad time , excellent service.

Absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Down to earth, approachable and friendly, with nothing being too much trouble leading up to mum’s funeral.

It’s never an easy time but Hayley and her team were so caring and respectful, carrying out our requests for the small details on the day, also guided us and helped us decide on how the service would run.

In summary, Darleys made a bad day as good as possible, thank you.

Upon the sudden loss of my Father I found myself facing in charge of having to arrange a funeral and everything that comes with that responsibility.
Not knowing where to start I was provided a list of local options. I began with Google and as soon as I read Hayley's website I made my choice as I felt her approach and morals matched my own.
Quite simply it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Hayley and her team were genuinely kind and caring and took a proactive approach to everything. They noted everything that I asked for and fluidly made changes as I wavered between my choices. Nothing I asked was too much for them to accommodate.
Without having to go into detail too far, they proactively did everything I needed and more.
Unfortunately I have spent far too many occasions in chapels of rest. Most of them impersonal and unpleasant.
I cannot stress enough how beautiful Hayley has her chapel of rest set out. It was comfortable and welcoming allowing me to spend the time needed with Dad.

On the day of the funeral everything went beautifully and as planned, it was all I wished for.

Hayley even came out of her way to drop dad's ashes with me after helping me choose a suitable beautiful scatter tube.

Everything about the service was utterly personal and it was more like dealing with old friends than the alternative.

I am forever grateful to Hayley and all her team for their utter kindness and care and for making what has been a hideous time as easy as it could possibly have been.

If I should leave this world tomorrow I know that I would want Hayley, Julie and Alf etc to take care of me. I know without doubt I'd be safe in their loving care, just as Dad was.

If you are undecided in your choice and you find yourself reading my review, please search no further, I assure you that you won't be disappointed.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the service provided by this company . The Darley family (each and everyone ) are a joy to deal with .At a time when we all needed someone to take over the reigns that is exactly what they did. Nothing is too much trouble and every detail was taken care of in a professional and timely manner .
On a personal level , there was nobody other than Hayley I'd have been happy to take care of my loved one . Hayley reads a room and knows what theright to say and do

We honestly could not rate Darley’s highly enough.
Every single member of staff was sympathetic, friendly, compassionate, professional and understanding.
They were just brilliant and I would highly recommend them.
From the very first telephone call they were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Given the circumstances, the day went really well, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Quite simply do not go anywhere else. Darley Funeral Directors are professional, compassionate, and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they put you at ease the moment you meet with them. They are prompt with their communications whether by phone or email. Their service on the day of the funeral was exemplary and made a difficult day that little bit easier to cope with. 

I rarely write a review for anything but actually asked if I could write one for Darley Funeral Directors as they provided such an outstanding service. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Darley's were absolutely ideal for our mum's funeral. They supported us throughout and listened to all our needs. We were really looking for a personal touch from a family funeral director, but with plenty of space to personalise the day as mum would have wanted.
