A professional and caring man, John helped us understand what needed to be done with respect to my Mum and from the very start he was understanding of our feelings and guided us professionally through the process.

At the Crematorium, John led his team extremely well and provided us with a faultless service.

Finally, John reached out after the service to make sure all was well and offered appropriate reassurance to my Wife and I for which we were very grateful for.

It was John Tattersall of Fielders who dealt with my wife, Christine's funeral and all the arrangements were perfect. John spent quite a while with us at the beginning outlining all the options very clearly and sympathetically then discussed the options in much more detail, making sure that we were happy with what we wanted on the day. Other ideas and queries cropped up and these were all dealt with very patiently, with care and in a helpful way. Phone calls made were always dealt with diligently and in a most friendly manner.
The funeral itself was flawless with everything coming together like clockwork and with great dignity. Fielders certainly made what was a sad occasion into a lovely day to be remembered. Thank you so much for all the care shown.

Having to deal with a close relative passing is difficult at the best of times, especially when you do not live in the UK as was my case. As my Mum was residing in a Care Home, I initially made contact with Chris at JG Fielder for contingency reasons in January. Sadly, my Mum passed away at the end of March, so at least things were already in place. Jon, has dealt with myself and my brother with the actual funeral arrangements and has been very professional, caring and compassionate throughout the whole process. The actual cremation went off without a hitch and was conducted in a very dignified manner. Thank you

I would highly recommend J. G. Fielder & Son Funeral Directors. All that I wanted in the service was granted. My wonderful husband Robert was very well looked after from the first day of collection. Everyone involved was very sympathetic and Jon and Helen made me feel welcome every time I visited Robert. It was such a comfort to know the care that Robert received was first class, he was dressed and positioned just as I had wanted. Their attention to detail was outstanding and the compassion and care shown to us as a family was excellent.
