I would highly recommend J. G. Fielder & Son Funeral Directors. All that I wanted in the service was granted. My wonderful husband Robert was very well looked after from the first day of collection. Everyone involved was very sympathetic and Jon and Helen made me feel welcome every time I visited Robert. It was such a comfort to know the care that Robert received was first class, he was dressed and positioned just as I had wanted. J G Fielder & Sons are an outstanding company. My Father whose a retired Vicar had a lot of experience dealing with funeral directors and instantly chose Fielder's as people spoke so highly of them. Their attention to detail was outstanding and the compassion and care shown to us as a family was excellent. We would like to thank them all, particularly Lucy Horsman for all the time and expertise in helping us make Rosemary Fossett's final journey and funeral so perfect. I can whole heartedly recommend Jon and the whole J G Fielder's team who helped to create and organise a very personal and fitting tribute for Debra's funeral.

Everything from the outstanding horse drawn hearse, the professionalism of the whole team, to the kindness shown. The little touches of the team such as the wearing lilac ties all helped make the service and celebration of Debra's life into a very moving and fitting tribute.
We had a lot of comments from family and friends saying how well organised and moving it was. From the first contact phone call, the home visit, to your guidance throughout, looking after family members when they came to visit your chapel of rest.
Thank you again, not just for the day but through the whole process.

Celebrant Alex Barnes was outstanding.
For some people, it was their first experience of a Humanist-led service and many found a great deal of comfort in the way Alex told Debra's story in a warm, tender and moving way with empathy and heart.
For many, it helped them focus on their own happier memories of Debra, and what she meant to them. Thank you

Fielder & Son Funeral Directors came recommended to me by my uncle, who had used them three times. They are very professional as well as caring. Jon explained everything to me about my brother’s funeral to me. He kept me informed every step of the way. On the day of the funeral Simon met us at the Crematorium and explained everything and took care of us.

First time using fielders and I’m so glad I got recommended them.the whole experience was 5star from start to finish! I’ve used two other local funeral directors and can honestly say fielders was exceptional compared to the others.Jon and his team couldn’t of done any more,the care and compassion they gave to myself and my mum was outstanding from our first meet to the day of the funeral.i wouldn’t use anyone else now and would highly recommend.
I felt so content knowing my late uncle was cared for by the best,and I can’t thank you enough. I can’t give you guys enough credit for what you do your all truly amazing.
