I had been to a funeral which had where Susan Wymark had been asked to represent, I saw for myself the empathy and attention to detail that Susan Wymarks team delivered. I always knew I would choose this company if ever needed to. So when I sadly lost my dear husband I recently, I was comfortable knowing he would be well looked after.
The team were always professional and caring whenever I needed to speak to them, and the funeral went exactly how me and the family intended it to be.

Susan Whymark did a very good job in organising Mum's funeral. Our initial meeting was with Louise who was a really nice person to deal with at a sad and stressful time. She guided us through all the things we needed to consider. We never felt hurried and were confident that she had everything in hand. She kept in touch about the practicalities ahead of the funeral and the team did an excellent job on the day.
Susan Whymark Funeral Service is an experienced firm of independent funeral directors in Harleston. Established in 2004, the firm is run by mother and daughter, Dianne and Susan Whymark.
Susan has been a funeral director since 1996 and gained the National Association of Funeral Directors diploma in 1998. She is one of the few female funeral directors in the country to start her own business from scratch. Dianne comes from a nursing background, with 21 years’ experience in palliative care.
At Susan Whymark Funeral Service you can expect a warm welcome from the family and experienced members of staff. Everything is carried out under one roof, from arranging the funeral to visiting the chapel of rest.

Susan Whymark Funeral Service Ltd were superb from start to finish. Louise was so professional and compassionate with the arrangements. It made the whole process much easier to cope with.
I would certainly recommend the company for your loved ones funeral. Even the order of service, music requirements and delivery of funeral flowers was dealt with.
On the day of the funeral, Susan and the team were so professional. Three of the grandchildren were guided how to be bearers. More than 280 people were at the funeral and Jill was given a much deserved professional send off.Thank you all so much.

As I entered the building I was met by Will, who I must say is an asset to the company, very compassionate and understanding and explained everything to me from the loss of my Mum. All the staff are all very kind and understanding. They give you helpful general information and nothing is too much trouble regarding the funeral arrangements.

I have no hesiatation in recommending Susan Whymark Funeral Services to all my friends and family. Louise, William and Susan herself made the whole, daunting and difficult process easy to deal with, taking the pressure off the family and guiding us gently, thoughtfully and carefully through what needed to be done.
Any questions to them on the arrangements, were answered swiftly and positively... even my queries on the Somerset woven willow coffin for mum were answered quickly with a viewing of the product at the Eye facility by knowledgeble staff.
They have undertaken the funeral arrangements for many friends and family and now my mum, the standard of attention and care is second to none.

Susan Whymark Funeral Service based in Harleston gave us exceptional service.
William was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time explaining exactly how things would be arranged.
The organisation on the funeral day was seamless and could not have been better.
We had so many nice comments about the funeral after the ceremony we are really grateful to all involved including the vicar Diane.
