About Us
Funeral director Christine Jones is the manager responsible for the Welling branch and is available during the funeral home opening times, which are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. The company operates a 24 hour on call response outside normal working hours.
The office was established in 2010 and offers assistance in burials, exhumations, cremations and repatriations.
Located in Welling Way in Welling, Kent, the branch covers all of the surrounding areas and has a variety of products offered including will writing, photography, service sheets, urns and keepsakes.
The premises feature an arranging office, two chapels of rest and a reception.
Assisting the bereaved for over 200 years, the Albins family has first started working as wardens of the Bermondsey cemetery to then grow to funeral directors.
What Families Say
AI SummaryMany families praise the care and attentiveness shown by office staff throughout the planning process, particularly highlighting how these team members took time to explain arrangements, answered questions patiently, and made themselves available when needed. Several describe feeling genuinely looked after rather than treated as customers, with staff remembering details about their preferences and following up with calls to check on their wellbeing.
On the day of the funeral itself, families repeatedly mention the professionalism and respect demonstrated by the staff who conducted the service, noting how they managed logistics smoothly, anticipated needs, and handled both the practical and emotional aspects with calm sensitivity. A number of reviews single out small but meaningful touches—such as placing a rose on the front door as the cortège departed or allowing family members to walk beside the hearse—as moments that made the day feel personal and memorable.
Families consistently return to the subject of how Albins eased their burden at an overwhelmingly difficult time, removing stress through clear communication, thorough organisation, and a genuine approach that made them feel supported rather than hurried through a transaction.

Well what can I say from the early hours on a Sunday morning in December when Dean and Greg came to pickup dad up I knew this was the right company to use, they were so caring and said they would look after dad while his was in their care and they kept to their word. Monday morning Chris from the office called to explain all the next steps, again so caring and always asked if I had any questions, from then on Chris was my number one lady to go to, was always helpful, calm and loving nothing was every to much trouble and always replied to emails so promptly a credit to Albins, oh and dads final journey went pass the shop and there was Chris outside head bowed what a lovely touch. Then day of funeral we were greeted at home by George and his crew again an amazing team everything was done to what we wanted, as we left the house a rose was put on the door, George let my grandson walk with him in front of the hearse and showed him exactly what to do what a proud moment for him and this will be with him and us for the rest of our lives. Albins should be very proud of all the staff the respect they gave dad and all of us, nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. I will recommend to everyone thank you from bottom of my heart. Keep up your amazing work great team Thank so much Mel x
