The personal service and customer care from Sarah and The team were outstanding. This is the third time we have used Albert Parr&son’s and would always recommend them. In times of family bereavement Albert Parr’s were most sympathetic and helpful to arrange a funeral and made sure the day went perfectly.

The Albert Parr family, 4 generations, really treated us like they would their own family. They were so attentive and caring throughout this entire difficult time. They picked my uncle up from the hospital promptly, they dressed and cared so much for my uncle, treating him with the utmost dignity and respect. They were so personal taking his life, his love of motorbikes into the whole funeral, engraving his coffin with his bike and James walked him to the crematorium. They arranged everything and cared for my elderly mum if she looked lost or upset. Nothing was too much. At such an emotional and painful time they listened to everything and nothing was too much. I am sending them such heartfelt thanks for everything they did. They treated us like family. I could not fault anything. Absolutely would recommend this beautiful family of Funeral Directors to anyone. Thank you again.

We’d used Albert Parr for my Father’s funeral 28 years previously, which they conduct excellently so there was no question of us using them for my Mother’s funeral. From our initial meeting we were treated with care, understanding and kindness. Sarah guided us through every detail of planning the church and crematorium services with great patience. She answered all our questions, offered suggestions when we were unsure and being available to support us whenever we phoned. On the day James and his team guided us through each part to make the day a beautiful celebration of our mother’s life. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you all.

Sarah/James and the team made the whole experience leading up to the day smooth and faultless ,every detail and request was carried out to faultlessly.
The only thing marred the day was the weather .. and that even with their connection wasn’t to be 😊
We had a beautiful fun heartfelt service conducted by Jo Bamford.. 
They certainly made my uncles  passage a smooth one , joining my aunt Jean in their Mausoleum..

Sarah, our funeral director could not have been more helpful. From the time Pamela, our wife and mother died, she took time to call, and has been caring, thoughtful and wise throughout. Her kindness enquiring after our welfare has been so much appreciated and made all the difference. Also the thoughtfulness of the team on the day, escorting my mum and being a gentle presence was hugely appreciated. Sarah’s team took the time and initiative in other ways as well, with personal touches and engravings which meant so much. These personal touches meant a lot to us and we cannot recommend them too highly.

Very good service all the way through, Had to call to make sure mum s body had been collected from care home (it was early sunday morning), but other than that the team were very helpful and knowledgeable, the organisation of preparing the funeral service was well managed and the journey to and from the crematorium and the funeral service itself did mum and the funeral company proud,

I had never had to arrange a funeral before, so when my son died unexpectedly I did not think I had the emotional or practical resources to do him justice. I could not have been more wrong. I was so fortunate to choose Albert Parr, who guided me through everything that needed to be done with meticulous attention to detail. Sarah was the perfect blend of compassionate, empathetic and professional, and chose the perfect celebrant in May, for my unconventional son. There were complex circumstances around the death, both Sarah and James went over and above the call of duty to help resolve those issues that could be resolved. On the day, everything went so smoothly and everyone was unanimous in saying what a wonderful service it was. I cannot recommend Albert Parr highly enough.

It’s difficult to put in to words how wonderful everyone at Albert Parr have been, this is the first funeral I have had to arrange and I was guided with compassion and kindness through every stage. From the very moment that mum passed everyone treated her and the respect we as family wanted for her, the gentleman that collected her from the house were lovely to us only moving mum when we were ready. The arrangements for the funeral were made with Sarah who was amazing, she allowed us to take our time to make our decisions, checked in with me regularly to make sure we were okay, recommend the most amazing celebrant Jo, who spent time with us as a family to find out about mum and again guiding us with compassion, the service lead by her was beautiful, it couldn’t have been better. And finally the team on the day of the funeral, lead by Alan, were wonderful and again took away any stress we might have had, the day was the perfect day we wanted to say goodbye to our mum.
I cannot recommend Albert Parr highly enough.

From the moment the guys came to remove my father from the care home right up to the end of the funeral service everyone was truly compassionate and caring . We were always dealt with processionally. I can’t thank them enough for everything and making a difficult time a lot easier to cope with. We are celebrating dads life and not letting his death be the forefront of his life.
