I knew Tony from the age of 5 when I used to go to work with my dad Reg at Marsh’s and later on in life when we worked together at Dickson’s.
He was always a kind thoughtful man with great one liners.
Rest in peace mate, it was a pleasure to have known you

Dear Uncle Tony
I will miss our Christmas Day telephone calls which enabled both of us to catch-up on what the family was doing. Dinner would be ready “just for one”so you then you could relax. Thankyou Tony for your advice and stories of which l will remember for ever.
RIP

Where do I start. I feel so privileged to have spent so much time with you. We laughed, put the world to rights and I would be too soft hence why you called me Soppy. You was the definition of a true gentleman and the dad I wished I had. You've left a big hole in my heart and I will miss you very much. I like to think your back in your wife June's arms as I know you missed her so very much. I will look after Tony. Wish I could make you one more cuppa and watch antiques road trip. Forever in my heart your Soppy xxxxxxx
