We were helped every step of the way through  the difficult task of organising our mother's funeral by Nicola our funeral director at Lincoln Co-Op Funeral Services.  The whole process was handled in a professional, patient and empathetic manner by her.   She guided us gently through every step of the way on the day of the funeral as did the accompanying pallbearers/drivers.

I felt that having Eric’s funeral at the co op was ideal. It was private and completely without hassle. This is what I wanted. His white coffin, I thought, was beautiful. He looked, although dead, in his blue shroud, lovely. His face had recovered his earlier loveliness. 

I was delighted with everything.

Richard conducted a delightful service. It was a fitting ending to a man I loved dearly. Wish Richard could put a précis of Eric’s life in Echo.

From the very moment we came into contact with the Co-operative Funeral Service everyone was extremely helpful and kind, and very respectful of the family as a whole. Nothing was too much trouble. We were gently led though what needed to be done without ever loosing sight of the fact that we had lost a loved one. I can’t recoment the Co-operative Funeral Service highly enough.

Lincoln Co-op - David Gault and the team could not have offered us a better service. From David's meeting with us to the extreme professionalism shown by the other staff on the day of the funeral. From the initial appointment with Nichola to the home visit from Gemma our Celebrant, to the service itself, everything went very smoothly. We were treated in a dignified but friendly & approachable way that put us at ease at a difficult time. The new Funeral Home on Tritton Road is particularly mpressive. The Co-op funeral services at Proctors Road, Lincoln provided an excellent service throughout the arrangements for my late husband’s funeral. Aly & Marie were both so kind and sympathetic to my emotions as well as guiding me through the complexities in a very professional manner. I would recommend their services and I’ll certainly nominate them for my own funeral.

Excellent service from start to finish. Initial consultation was carried out with sensitivity. The organisation carried out thoroughly with calls providing periodic updates and requests for information sufficiently frequent without being intrusive. Funeral events went smoothly allowing family and friends to focus on celebrating the life of my father and expressing grief. All prices were quoted upfront with no persuasion about what we should include. My mother said they were lovely. with thanks
