Fantastic service received.  Ali was very helpful and comforting towards me during a difficult time.  Nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to accommodate some of my requests.  Even after the service Ali telephoned me to check that I was okay and provided me with an update regarding the ashes.  I would definitely recommend Proctors road to anyone.  Thank you Ali and the team at Proctors road

I was very happy with the professionalism , especially the gentleman that rang the day before the funeral , but was more than disappointed with the length of time it took for me to get to see my deceased Mum ...almost four weeks ; it would have been nice to have seen her on her birthday ..and also the staff on reception were meant to ring me and didn't. I ended up having to ring again ..dont need the stress when grieving to be honest

Nicola made the arrangements for our dear mum Ada. I have to say from the very start to the final committal in the grave the service provided was excellent. Nicola handled all of the detail for us, nothing was too much trouble and was done swiftly and totally to our satisfaction. The care consideration and dignity at the actual funeral was outstanding, David and Nicola handled everthing so nicely for all of us. I don't think I have ever seen such care given to the family members.
It was a truly wonderful way of doing this final thing for mum.
We really cannot thank you enough for what you did.

The Coop Funeral Services were fantastic. Our first initial meeting was with Nicola who was very professional and helped us through talking about our needs at this very difficult time. Nicola introduced us to Andrew Key who visited my mum at home and we talked about Dad and his life. Andrew was so pleasant and thoughtful, and mum felt very comfortable and at ease after Andrew had visited her.

The funeral service was lovely. Andrew delivered the service with respect and emotion. Dad would have been so proud.

So thankyou to you all at the Coop for making this emotionally difficult task as easy, pain free and actually a joyous, uplifting experience.

What a beautiful well organised and dignified funeral the cooperative did. 
I felt my husband would have been extremely proud of his send off.
Everyone that I dealt with from the first meeting to the last were professional caring and put me at ease immediately I truly felt that I could trust them implicitly to give my husband the funeral he deserved and they exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much.

Some people who used it are unsure of the lack of smooth operation : often difficult to tie in pics with comment, leaving a donation left a lot to be desired. The donation was shown (crass) & required several attempts to input?

Perhaps using facebook would help spread the message BUT open to sad targetting & explosion of poor photos or abuse.

From start to finish the service we recieved from the Co-operative funeral directors (Proctor Road) was outstanding. We were treated with such care and compassion by everyone involved. We were especially grateful to David for his support and guidance at such a difficult time. He steered us through the process expertly whist taking the time to make sure every detail was just right. Our family will not be recommending you to our friends and family.As we feel we did not have any support from the young lady who sorted out our mum's funeral.she was actually from Horncastle her name was kirby..we only saw her on the day we came in to sort the arrangements.we never heard from her again we tried to ring her on several occasions but no luck...we were very dissapointed with that.if it hadn't of been for the lovely receptionist Marie at proctor Rd then we don't know how we would have got thru this awful ordeal.she went above and beyond and helped us with things that were probably not her responsibility..please pass on our thanks to her..also the lady we met at the crem was lovely too apart from that it was not a nice experience for us...
