Ever body treated myself and my family with great respect. My wife was given a stylish farewell which is just what a loved mum and amazing partner deserved. We also thought that the celebrant Stuart was just the right person to lead the service .

From the initial meeting with Louisa, I was at my ease, she was so helpful and considerate in helping me plan my wife's funeral, nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail ensured a seamless service that touched the hearts of all that attend the service and the internment. Please thank Neil the funeral director and his crew for their excellent and professional execution of their duties in laying my darling Maria to rest. The choice of celebrant was such a comfort to my family in having someone who had such a deep empathy with all that attend the service. I’m disappointed to be honest.
Although the person I spoke to was very helpful and empathetic, I felt there was something missing.
There seemed to be a lack of staff, and on more than one occasion the branch was closed when I wanted to talk to someone because I couldn’t get through on the phone.

Bourne Coop Funeral care have been absolutely amazing. The funeral was planned well and every detail we requested was handled with care, compassion and empathy.
Jodie was very kind and caring. We were  treated with respect and care. The planning was taken at our pace and we could not have asked for better! The staff were always caring & considerate. Communication wasn’t good.
I was told mum’s details would be locked away with only 1 person able to access. Mum passed away & was taken into care 5.00pm the Sunday. I had been told I would be contacted the following day to say she was in care. I heard nothing until the Tuesday am, by a sales person offering options. I said I didn’t even know where mum was at that point. Eventually I was contacted. I had delays in communication, I think because the one person was off. I asked twice at least when mum would be ready, told possibly later in the week. Week 4 I had a letter’s with timeframe on. Eventually I said I would collect mum from Huntington as soon as she was ready. The following week this hadn’t been passed on. Found out mum was cremated 7/2,  I wasn’t advised until 17/2, she was ready in Bourne, even though on the Tuesday 14/2, I had said I would go to Huntington.

From start to finish everything went very smoothly. All staff at the office were caring and considerate and I was extremely happy with how things went. It was a shame that the hearse hadn’t been cleaned properly though. 
The celebrant ,Stuart, was by far the star of the whole event. From visiting us at home to discuss the eulogy to helping to prepare the final draft. So many friends and family said that it was the best funeral they had ever attended. This man will make the co-op the place to go to for funeral services.
