From the moment we first met the team at Luke Allum Funeral Services, we felt genuinely supported and reassured during an incredibly difficult time. Sue was outstanding throughout the entire process. She approached everything with kindness, patience, and professionalism, and never once made us feel under any pressure. Instead, she took the time to listen carefully to my dad’s wishes for my mum, ensuring that every detail reflected exactly what he had hoped for. Her understanding and attention to detail resulted in a truly beautiful and fitting arrangement.




On what was a very sad and emotional day, the team made everything feel far more manageable. They handled every aspect with care and efficiency, allowing us to focus on remembering and honouring my mum without the added worry of logistics. Luke and the bearers were exemplary in their conduct. They carried out their roles with dignity, respect, and a calm professionalism that brought a great sense of reassurance to us all.

The celebrant, Dan McDonald, who was arranged through the funeral directors, was exceptional. He delivered the service with warmth, compassion, and genuine sincerity. His words were thoughtful and meaningful, capturing the essence of my mum’s life in a way that felt both personal and comforting.

The standard of service we received from Luke Allum Funeral Services was truly outstanding from beginning to end. Every member of the team demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and dedication. Bereavement is one of the most traumatic times of our lives. When you are at your lowest ebb you have to deal with solicitors, banks and government officials who seem oblivious to your trauma, however dealing with Luke, Sue and Angela was like an oasis of calm and compassion. Everything they did was perfect and when other things are causing stress five stars is hardly enough.
