At the hardest time in mine and my daughters lives im glad I chose Luke Allum as they made it easier for us and nothing was to much trouble for Luke or the ladies . I will always be grateful that Luke supported me and got me through the funeral . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly cannot recommend Luke Allum and his team highly enough. Losing my mum has been one of the most distressing and heartbreaking experiences of my life, but from the moment we entrusted her care to Luke and his team, they did everything they could to make an incredibly difficult time feel just a little more bearable. The attention to detail, the personal service and the genuine care shown by every single person we dealt with was exceptional. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our personal requests and make sure that Mum’s farewell was exactly as we wanted it to be. The Chapel of Rest is beautiful. Being able to visit Mum in such a peaceful, calm and comforting space meant so much to us. They even made us a cup of tea while we sat with her, which sounds like such a small thing, but it felt absolutely perfect. For that time, it felt as though we were simply visiting Mum as we normally would — sitting with her, having a cup of tea and spending time together. It was incredibly comforting. I also want to mention Angela and Sue in the shop, who were absolutely wonderful. They were so kind, compassionate and patient throughout. They made me feel as though they knew Mum personally and, most importantly, that they genuinely cared about her and about us. That meant more than they could possibly know. And Jane, the celebrant, was wonderful too. She took the time to understand Mum and helped make the service feel personal, meaningful and completely reflective of her. We could not have asked for more. And then there was Luke himself today. From the moment he arrived at our door, the respect, warmth and professionalism he showed us was incredible. Every detail had been thought through and everything went like absolute clockwork, allowing us to focus on Mum and on saying our final goodbye rather than having to worry about anything else. Luke has totally mastered his craft. There is something very special about the way he conducts himself and the care he gives to families at one of the most difficult moments of their lives. I will never be able to thank him enough for the way he looked after Mum and for the way he looked after all of us. Luke’s words are “Let my family care for your family” — and he really, truly did. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to Luke, Angela, Sue, Jane and the whole team for caring for Mum with such dignity, kindness and respect. You helped make an unbearable day bearable, and we will never forget that. I would wholeheartedly recommend Luke Allum and his team to anyone who needs funeral services. From the moment we first met the team at Luke Allum Funeral Services, we felt genuinely supported and reassured during an incredibly difficult time. Sue was outstanding throughout the entire process. She approached everything with kindness, patience, and professionalism, and never once made us feel under any pressure. Instead, she took the time to listen carefully to my dad’s wishes for my mum, ensuring that every detail reflected exactly what he had hoped for. Her understanding and attention to detail resulted in a truly beautiful and fitting arrangement. On what was a very sad and emotional day, the team made everything feel far more manageable. They handled every aspect with care and efficiency, allowing us to focus on remembering and honouring my mum without the added worry of logistics. Luke and the bearers were exemplary in their conduct. They carried out their roles with dignity, respect, and a calm professionalism that brought a great sense of reassurance to us all. The celebrant, Dan McDonald, who was arranged through the funeral directors, was exceptional. He delivered the service with warmth, compassion, and genuine sincerity. His words were thoughtful and meaningful, capturing the essence of my mum’s life in a way that felt both personal and comforting.
