Standard Simple Funeral

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I cannot fault the care and kindness showed to our family when my uncle died. The staff led me though the whole process which made it so much easier for me to cope with. Drayson on the day was so professional and kind.

As a family we decided to choose an unattended cremation. We were told that we would get 2 to 3 days notice of the day of the cremation. This would mean that the family could all be together on the day of the cremation to remember our loved one.
I was contacted at 10:30 on the day of the cremation so we were unable to all be together.
The CO-OP really should be getting this right and I feel badly let down like you don’t really care.

When I went down to Margate to view my husband I found the office to be very nice friendly they were a bit late picking me up from my hotel I could have ask for anything better for an elderly person like myself I would recommend the COOP to anyone.My late Husband was well locked after while in there care.
