The home is currently run by John and Chris Lawrence, who have been working for the family business ever since they left school. Combined they have over 60 years experience, and they are proud to carry on the legacy of service, helping families to honour and celebrate the lives of loved ones.

There is a huge choice of coffins, caskets and urns, ranging from traditional materials to green and eco-friendly options. J. Lawrence have a wide selection of funeral transport vehicles available, with modern Jaguar hearses and limousines as well as a traditional Daimler limousine. Horse-drawn hearses are also available on request.

When my wife Mary died recently, I immediately turned to J. Lawrence & Sons: they are based locally, and had done an excellent job when Mary's mother died several decades ago. They dealt with the whole process of arranging Mary's funeral very professionally and helpfully, and her cremation was carried out with great dignity, combining sadness at her passing with a joyful celebration of her life.
