I really can’t thank John and everyone enough for the service they provided at such a dreadful and overwhelming time. My husband’s death was unexpected, so arranging a funeral was not something I expected to be doing so soon, but from the very start, the genuine care and compassion was evident, and not once did I feel like I was ‘just another client’. My options were clearly explained, and John completely understood the atmosphere I wanted for Roger, arranging the perfect celebrant for the service. I visited Roger in the chapel of rest, and the care with which he had been treated was clear to see, and was certainly comforting to see. The day itself went off without issue and I’m confident that I was able to give Roger a fitting send-off - complete with Iron Maiden. I’d like to finish my review by thanking everyone involved for not just looking after Roger, but after me too - you certainly made an extremely difficult time that bit more bearable.

We received an excellent service from J Lawrence & Sons. They took care of all arrangements with professionalism, empathy and kindness. They made everything seem straightforward and helped us make decisions. I was very grateful to them for tracking down a particular celebrant I had met 5 years earlier and who I wanted to conduct the ceremony for my father. They also helped with photos, music and flowers. We felt very comfortable about leaving our beloved father in their care. The funeral itself ran smoothly and was just what we wanted. All conducted with care and kindness. Highly recommend.
