First of all I'd like to say thank you to Tracy at Sholing funeralcare for being so kind and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her empathy was much appreciated.
Everything, from start to finish was handled with care and consideration. From securing the beautiful butterfly hearse to organising the bespoke orders of service.
I have no hesitation in recommending Co-Op funeral care, Sholing, to anybody needing a personal touch.
My loved one was treated with the utmost care and dignity and our every wish was catered to.

We had a lovely funeral for my husband, they were very caring and sorted my every need for my husband and were very affordable.

I have never had to organise a funeral before so didn't know anything, they helped with all the arrangements and everything we needed for a lovely send off for my dad.

We were waiting over 4 weeks to see my dad after he passed away 21 Feb , he wasn’t at the funeral directors tik 8 March .
We asked for my dad to be embalmed and waited to hear from them to go see my dad again .
We said we didn’t want anyone to carry the coffin in just the funeral undertakers to do it .
When myself and my mum went to spend the day with my dad we left after 5 minutes and was devastated what we see .
They had left my dad too long and his face had collapsed it didn’t look anything like my dad if it wasn’t for the suit we knew he had on I would of said it wasn’t him .

When I spoke later that day to the lady at reception she asked if we was asked by Tracy who took the details when we went in to organise the funeral for a picture of my dad … we were not asked for one 

The day of the funeral they were 2 men short to carry my dad and I had to ask my husband and son in law to help out as they said they couldn’t do it in they’re own !

I booked the funeral in Guildford for a burial in Southampton. Both ladies at either end were wonderful and the whole process was kind and thoughtful. We were helped and informed at every step of the way. During a very sad time for the family, the ladies and funeral director were very supportive.

The cars arrived on time and we proceeded to the crematorium swiftly. Ian introduced himself as we arrived and made sure arrangements were in place for the actual funeral to take place. He was very courteous and attentive. The Celebrant, David, spoke well and only made one mistake when he called my sister, Rosemary, by my daughters name, Lucy. Really good service.
