I don't really want to comment much as the service in the past has always been very good.

I think the problems we had this time were probably 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

I was under a time pressure to get funeral done and you were very busy.

Communication was sometimes difficult bit once the arrangements were settled all went smoothly.

The staff fully understand that I needed a lot of support during a difficult time, from the discussion of the plan for the funeral, through to viewing at the chapel of rest and the day of the funeral to all related admin and paperwork. I felt they have dealt with it all professionally and satisfactorily.

I had quite a complicated 'tailored package' that involved long distance transport, further disrupted by the coroner's requirement for a postmortem and many moving parts. The service I received was excellent, always calm, reassuring and efficient - Wendi in particular went the extra mile to help with all the many queries that came through and was very professional. There service was very professional everything was thought of. They contacted me every Friday to check in to see if there was anything else I was very impressed and satisfied it made it all run smoothly the staff were all kind and very thoughtful.

The initial meeting was pretty chaotic and not what I was expecting. The girl who tried to help me arrange the funeral was from a different branch and lacked empathy and did not give me all the information or options avaiable, there were further problems because I paid for embalming but 'I didn't tick the box' (my fault?)
This caused me more upset and the fact of not knowing where my husband's body was.
Thankfully, as soon as Darren returned everything was sorted out!
I understand this was
because they were short staffed and Darren was off sick.
Darren is absolutely the best!
He is so kind and caring.
I feel he went above and beyond his duties as a funeral director. He was so helpful and understanding of the situation.
He found us the perfect celebrant and the funeral went well.
I can't praise him enough. I wish all your staff were as lovely as him.

The empathy and kindness I was shown and the professional and respectful manner in which my mother’s funeral arrangements were carried out made the whole event so much easier for me. From the initial meeting with Lisa, who guided me through the details, organising the Minister and organist and keeping in touch with me on a regular basis to see if I had any queries and Darren who gently and sympathetically talked me through the details of the procedure  in advance of the actual burial day itself and who conducted the event with such respect and professionalism. Also the team who attended on the day, the lovely and helpful young lady who drove myself and some of my family in the limousine that followed the hearse and the young men who, despite the dreadful weather on the day, turned out smartly to carry my mother’s coffin and lower her into her final resting place. Thanks to the whole of the  team and to my mother herself who had the foresight some years ago to organise and pay for a funeral plan for herself to avoid her family any further anguish and expense when her time came.

It was a relief to be able to pass everything over and know that your requests would be given every attention, we have used Beavis’s services for the family several times over the years and have always received courtesy, sympathy and dignity for the deceased, nothing was too much trouble for them and they gave my sincere and grateful thanks.

David Adcock was a truly remarkable celebrant.

Lisa and Sarah helped with the initial arrangements and were helpful and efficient.
The lady who took the payment for the funeral on our second visit to the office was efficient enough but not very friendly.
The flowers were not all red roses as we had ordered and we were not informed of this until we arrived for the funeral itself.
I am due a refund for the difference in price which was confirmed by Darren but now over two weeks since the funeral and no refund has been received.

We could not fault Beavis Funeral Care throughout from the beginning of Our Visits and Planning of Ashley's Funeral. To the actual Day of Service. Which was everything that Ashley was. Also Victoria Wesley Celebrant had got Ashley down to a tee just from listening to Us ready for His Celebration. You would have thought She would have known Ashley. As everything was amazing, and all the Funeral Arrangers were lovely and caring.

I can't fault the service we got from the staff, brilliant from start to finish. The staff kept in contact with us every step of the way. Lisa made us feel very comfortable and couldn't of been more helpful.
