What Families Say

AI Summary

Families repeatedly praise the care and compassion shown throughout their experience, from the moment they first made contact through to the funeral day itself. Many describe feeling that their loved ones were treated with dignity and respect, and note that staff anticipated their needs and guided them through each step without pressure or rushing.

Communication and practical organisation feature prominently in what families report. Several mention how staff liaised with churches, crematoriums, florists and other organisations on their behalf, managed payments and provided clear information about costs, leaving families able to focus on their grief rather than logistics.

Many families highlight how the funeral day itself ran smoothly and reflected their wishes. A number note that staff created space for them to spend time with their loved one and made arrangements that felt personal and meaningful, resulting in a service that felt like a fitting tribute.

The last few weeks  have been incredibly difficult for us all but the kindness and care shown by Marie and Lesley at Moores helped us to navigate the many hurdles as easily as possible. They were always ready to help at every stage when things seemed too complicated to face. They allowed us to manage things in a way that we found comfortable and I know that my sons found it really helpful to be able to deal with everything with humour as well as sadness. They helped us to plan a ceremony that was a true celebration of the life of an amazing man. It was such a fitting tribute to him and we are so grateful that they enabled that to happen.
I have to mention the couple who collected Rich when he died. They treated him with such kindness and dignity that although it was hard to let him go, I felt he was safe in their hands.
