I was completely lost as soon as my Dad passed away and having no plan in place, nor ever made arrangements of this nature, my first phone call to the Co Op, l was made to feel completely at ease. Their service was completely attentive to my needs and the courtesy calls that followed was all about Dad and his wishes. So dignified and respectful. I was stress free throughout the whole process. Ian's service was lovely the only thing that upset me was the fact we was being rushed in and out the church this is no fault.of the coop's tho this was down to work being done at the cemetery I would like to thank Joanne especially she was wonderful

Dear Joanna, Linda, Lois, Heather and the lovely two gents on the day.
We cannot thank the ladies and gentlemen at Rochdale Funeral Care enough for all their help, patience, support and kindness. My dad died just over a month ago and from start to finish, these ladies have helped my family in so many different ways; ways I wasn’t expecting. From meeting with Joanna to plan the funeral, which was a low cost package, we felt a weight had been lifted. My mum was expecting it to be a traumatic experience but Joanna took so much pain out of the process.  Following this, we had regular phone calls to keep us updated and to check how our family was coping. These amazing women understand how a loss can impact on the whole family. It was never about just a funeral. It felt like they guided us in a healing process. I, personally, had a lot of questions leading up to the funeral; Lois and Heather were exceptional in guiding me and explaining how each stage of the process would work. Linda went above and beyond to check on us, and on the day, she made everyone feel like we could get through the most horrible of days. Linda exudes a calmness and kindness which extends beyond professionalism. You feel like every person at Rochdale Funeral Care genuinely cares about you and the person you have lost. I, personally, cannot thank them enough for what they did for us. In 2021, we used a well known funeral care chain when we lost my father-in-law, and from this, I can see what an amazing service they provide. That was just a funeral and a business transaction. I don’t really have many words, Lois and Joanna were amazing and would recommend to anyone. The process from start to finish was done with care, compassion and patience. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect on the day, but it was exceeded all expectations and made a very sad day very special.

So much care and empathy was given to the family at this sad time. Phone calls each week to make sure we were all okay and if we had any questions,problems it was explained , nothing was too much trouble

From the very first day when I called into enquire about a funeral service and up to and beyond the service I have nothing but admiration for how I was treated and kept up to date each stage of the process.
Lois was so kind, caring and compassionate she made a very difficult time so much more bearable. I have personally thanked her and all the others involved in arranging Helen's service including Lisa Bancks the Funeral Celebrant and Joanna who was the undertaker on the day.
Lois is a credit to both you as a local company and a credit to her profession.

I found the staff at the co-op funeral home to be very helpful and supportive,they took their time to help us arrange the things that needed to be done.They also kept in touch while waiting for the day of the funeral. It was a very good experience when going through a bad time
