After experiencing bereavement first-hand, Sarah set out to build a funeral service that puts families first, helping to reduce financial pressure whilst ensuring every person is treated with dignity and respect. Lumina Funerals believe that saying goodbye should be guided by compassion, clarity and genuine human care.

Working alongside her sibling Robert, a trusted and hands-on member of the team, Lumina offers a truly personal service. From the first call to the final farewell, families are supported directly by people who care, rather than call centres or faceless systems. Together, Sarah and Robert are committed to being present, approachable and attentive at every step.

The company is also proud to represent Susie’s Trust, created in memory of Sarah’s daughter, which helps support families facing the loss of a child with free or reduced-cost services.
