I cannot praise Emma,Abby and Mike their team at Bridgewater Funeral Services highly enough for their care and respect to both my mum ,myself and family at such a difficult time. I felt such a sense of relief once mum had been collected from the hospital and taken into their care, where I was confident she would be well looked after until we could lay her to rest.
Planning a funeral is so hard, it is the last thing we can do for our loved one and you want to get it right. With Emma's guideance and the skills of Abby and Mike together we pulled off the most perfect day. I had some specific ideas of what I wanted to make it very personal to mum and they 'got me'. I was sensitively guided to what would and wouldnt work and informed of what was happening every step of the way. It is like being looked after by special friends from the moment you make that difficult first phone call! 5 STAR SERVICE thank you xxx

While I’ve attended many funerals I have never had to organise one until recently. I googled funeral director in the area, read the reviews and made a call to Bridgewater Funeral Service. My plan was to ring a few and make my decision but after my conversation with Abbie I knew that I wanted them to take care of my Mum’s funeral. Abbie took the time to explain everything to me, asking questions and listening to me, I felt completely reassured. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the way everything was handled from start to finish. Abbie and the team are amazing and I would highly recommend using them.

The shock and upset of losing our Mam was beyond words. We had no experience in arranging a funeral, but had been in contact with Bridgewater the day before she passed, and even though at that time we had not instructed them to arrange our Mam's funeral, after a quick phone call in the early hours of the morning, they came out to the Nursing Home where she had passed away to remove her, with dignity, to their premises. After that, up and until and after Mam's funeral, we were kept informed with everything in the most caring and compassionate manner. Nothing, and I mean nothing, was too much trouble for them to deal with and the whole family cannot thank Emma, Michael and Abby enough for making the most difficult time in our lives easier to deal with. Thank you, thank you , thank you.
