Everything I asked for he arranged without any problems or fuss. At a very sad and stressful time, the family found that Lyndsay Ellis was very professional and helped us to ensure that our father was given the send off he deserved. Everything was well planned and nothing was too much for Lyndsay to arrange for us. We would also like to make a special mention to Ben, who dealt with us when we visited the funeral home, again very professional and friendly and also remembered us by name. We would certainly recommend this company for the personal service that we received.

We used the Vale Funeral Service based on their reputation and by recommendation from friends. The reputation is very well deserved. Nicola, Lyndsay and Ben were very supportive to us and dealt with everything very sensitively and respectfully. They were very thoughtful with ideas/suggestions/recommendations which helped us give my mum a lovely and very moving service. We are so grateful to them for introducing us to Andrew Murphy who led the service. We cannot thank him enough for all his support and for capturing our stories and memories in such a lovely way, which resulted in both tears and laughter. We would also very highly recommend Chantelle from Heavens Scent for the beautiful floral tribute.

Lyndsey and his team provided an excellent service to me and my family. He was able to guide and support us to organise the send off that Mum deserved. He recommended using Lorraine Barrett as the celebrant for the service and she was equally as amazing and understanding as Lyndsey and his team. From just an hour with Lorraine, she managed to capture the essence of Mum and her colourful personality. The euology was perfect and even made us smile at such a sad event.










Nothing was too much trouble for The Vale Funeral Service, for example, Lyndsey kindly arranged for me to collect Mum's ashes out of normal hours as I don't live locally. He and his team were always keeping us updated through telephone calls and emails which was exactly what we needed at such an emotional time. We never had to chase him or the team for a response.

When we visited Mum in the chapel of rest, Nicola had made her look beautiful and had put just the right amount of make up on her. For the first time in months, Mum looked at peace.

We couldn't have asked for anything more from Lyndsey and team. The service was excellent from the first telephone call to the last email. I would recommend The Vale Funeral Service to everyone who is looking to give their loved one the perfect send off.

The personal and sensitive way in which the Vale Funeral Service dealt with my family following the unexpected death of my brother was faultless. Lyndsay and his team supported my family and I in such a caring and considered way, offering reassurance, regular updates as well as guiding us through the process and understanding completely how we wanted the day to go. Lyndsay managed to fit us in around a very short time frame and even despite being busy ensured that those of his team known to my brother were available to drive him to the burial ground. Those personal touches mean so much. The team were very discreet at the family service and made the day as beautiful and laid back as we'd hoped it would be.
