Right from the first phone call Clare was lovely and really helpful. It was a trying time but Clare made us feel at ease and I felt like I’d known her all my life . We only had a direct cremation for mum because that was what she wanted but she completely understood. Subsequent calls regarding arrangements were dealt with in the same friendly way . The care we received from the team was a perfect balance of compassion and organisation.

Claire was so helpful and kind, keeping me updated and on track. It is such a lot to think about when you are in a difficult place. Having that support really made difference.

Claire also recommended the perfect Celebrant in Louise. She did an amazing job capturing my Mum perfectly and ensured the ceremony went to plan.

Mark was with us on the day and again was very supportive and guided us through smoothly and with respect. It was a great help to have his experience and guidance.

From the very first phone call Claire at the witham branch was so caring kind and helpful she gave me so much support at such a difficult time I will be forever grateful. I couldn’t have got threw all the funeral plans without her help . I literally didn’t know where to start or what was needed to be done. knowing Claire was at the end of the phone whenever I had any questions or needed some reassurance was a massive support. The funeral directors on the day of the funeral were all lovely and explained everything to me before and after so I knew exactly what was happening and when which really helped . Overall the team was fantastic we couldn’t have asked for anymore it really wasn’t the awful experience I expected it to be planing a funeral . We will be forever grateful. Ronald Allen’s family

My Mum, myself and our family were very pleased with how my Aunt’s funeral arrangements and service was handled. 
The whole Co-op Funeral Care team in Witham and also at Great Tey were very courteous, sensitive and professional in dealing with us  as a family during this difficult and very sad time.  The Co-op recommended a wonderful Celebrant, Claire who gave a very lovely and moving service.

So glad my late Mother chose the Coop for her pre paid funeral plan….The rep Clare was brilliant from the beginning right through  to conclusion .I have never gone through this system of dealing with a close relatives death.Again Clare helped me through , giving me good advice and even though i was a bit upset with just losing my Mother she calmly guided me through to the day of the funeral..Her organising and with help from the Directors on the day all went so so well…I cannot thank you all enough for the care and dignity shown…You are all brilliant..Many thanks ….John Wilcock…….
