This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

Very professional service from the start of the arrangements to the actual service. The only comment I would make is that we did not have any cars for the funeral and therefore there was a considerable amount of money saved on the pre purchased funeral plan. However, we still had to purchase the flowers and could not use any of the saved money in the funeral plan to contribute against the flower costs.

My cousin John’s funeral went with out a hitch, Kathy and Mark at Clacton arranged everything nothing was to much trouble even recommending a vicar Peter Evans who conducted the service and flowers from Camellia Florist. If you want a caring and professional service I can highly recommend Clacton Co op Funeralcare. Robert Leah
