The service from the initial purchase of a funeral plan to the aftercare offered by the team was always prompt, considered and appropriate. When time came to contact the team at Pitsea they could not have been more helpful, especially as the death was at home and they had to attend on a Sunday. Staff at the office were very professional when making all the funeral arrangements and guiding us through the decision making process relating to choices for the actual funeral. I would like to thank all the team for their kindness at such a difficult time.

Everyone was excellent, especially Laura who was a breath of fresh air,at such a sad time,most people seem to put on a sad voice,but she was happy and that made me feel so much better,everything people service and tha care Martin was given was excellent, thank you from myself and all the family, especially Haydn my grandson x

Initially the contact, quote  and booking was with Teresa, lovely lady no complaints. After Teresa was not at work…Interim period dreadful. Different people seemingly not knowing what was going on… not getting back to me with answers to queries. The man who my daughter had conversations with totally not funny or helpful…
 When Lynsey and Emma took over from Basildon branch everything thankfully slotted in to place and the funeral went ahead beautifully.
Since paying in full…  again not impressed with follow up. I was promised info./brochure on ashes containers etc… still waiting.

As a family ,we had already used co op funeral care Pitsea Essex to take care of mum's funeral in 2019 and used again sadly for dad's on 23rd January 2023. They are professional but caring and there is never any rush to get you out the doors,from start to finish they are there to answer any queries or concerns ,so would like to say thank you.

The experience we’ve had from Teresa at the CoOp Pitsea Funeralcare has been exceptional. During the hardest time in our lives, Teresa was compassionate, patient, respectful and caring. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t try to accommodate for us. She is also a good judge of character and matched us to our celebrant Mike perfectly. He was so suited to our family and lead my Dad’s service perfectly. The undertakers were also excellent, especially Laura who was so helpful. I cannot thank Teresa and the team enough for everything they’ve done for me and my family at this most difficult time.
