We felt very supported by Roger and his team as we arranged the cremation for my mother. He helped steer us through an unfamiliar process during these unusual times.

As someone who had never had to plan and arrange a funeral before, I found the team extremely supportive throughout.  I had most dealings with Angela, who guided me through the whole process with skill and care, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble for her.  She really helped to take away a great deal of the stress and anxiety of the situation.  

At the funeral itself, Roger and the other bearers were models of discreet and pastoral presence, and their respectful demeanour enhanced the funeral service. 

I cannot speak too highly of the service I and my family have received.  The flexibility of different options also means that their services are suitable for different budgets.  I would recommend L Clarke & Sons without hesitation.

From the outset we found the service of Roger from LClarke and sons highly commendable  and sympathetic in every way.They handled my wife with extreme care and dignity on taking her from our home,and I trust that she received the same treatment when taken to their chapel of rest.The commits at Barnstaple crematorium was very dignified and the eulogy was very poignantly spoken by Amandajane.Wewould not hesitate to recommend the services of L.Clarke and sons.

It was a very small congregation but because the music and singing were recorded we could feel as if there were more people with us.
The celebrant was very helpful and kind both beforehand and during the ceremony.
The pall bearers were respectful and made the funeral seem a celebration of her life. Thankyou.

From the moment they came into the house they made me feel at ease and safe in their hands. They were professional, compassionate and took care of everything for me.
