Otter Valley's second Funeral Home opened in Exmouth in June 2023, serving the local community and the wider area of East Devon.
In addition to Otter Valley Funerals being a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, which offers support to service families, a number of their team are actively involved with local community projects, initiatives and charitable organisations in and around Exmouth, so their care for the community is at the heart of their work in caring for local families and their loved ones during a bereavement.
The staff at the Exmouth branch are proud to represent Otter Valley Funerals' philosophy of providing compassionate, personalised funeral services for families at one of the most difficult times of their lives. As an independent, family-run company, the services offered are focussed on respect, empathy and attention to detail.
Funeral services can be tailored to reflect individual wishes and cultural or religious needs, including Traditional funerals with burial or cremation, Direct Cremations that are simple yet dignified without a formal ceremony, Church & Religious funerals across Exmouth and Devon and Natural/Green burials at local sites such as Littleham Natural Burial Ground.

I can't thank Simon and Stacey enough for the care, kindness and compassion they showed us when arranging my uncle, Raymond Gould’s, simple cremation.
From the very beginning, Simon was absolutely fantastic, and Stacey in the office was so sincere, warm and genuinely lovely. They guided us through every step of the process, making everything run so smoothly and taking away so much of the stress at what was a difficult time for our family.
Although we chose a simple cremation with no service, they treated everything with such care, dignity and respect. Nothing ever felt too much trouble, and their support and understanding meant more than they probably realise.
Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for making everything so straightforward and for looking after everything so beautifully for Raymond. Your kindness will never be forgotten, and I would wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone needing compassionate and professional support during a difficult time.
