After mum passed away dan and Kev made it so easy to deal with taking much of the pressure from me in helping me sort every detail out form the church to the crematorium with times . Books hymen’s and so on . But they made it run spot on and everyone said how smooth it was so thanks you all including all drivers too as you all made us all feel so special . Mum would of bean so proud.

Located on Burton Road, AW Lymn's Littleover branch opened in May 2017 and funeral arranger Dan Barnes is in charge of the office, along with senior funeral director Kevin Hall.
The premises offer a reception area, visitation rooms, family room, cold room facilities and a ritual washing area.
Dan is available to see clients from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, or at any other time by appointment – the telephone number operates 24 hours a day.
The office is called Meek House and is named after David and Shelagh Meek, both Littleover residents and long serving members of staff at A.W. Lymn. Husband and wife team David and Shelagh opened the main Derby office on Becket Street in 1985.
Nigel Lymn Rose, former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors’ manages A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew.

My brother and I could not fault the service offered by A.W.Lymn. Right from the very first phone call to Derek through to the actual day of the funeral in which Angela was so compassionate and professional. We were especially pleased to discover that our dad would be taking his final car journey in a silver RR which was absolutely stunning along with the 3 other cars. Thank you Angela and your team you made us very happy that we gave dad the very best.

The service we received from the first time I met Angela to go through details to the actual day of the funeral of my husband Ken was superb. Angela was very thorough and very kind to me and my girls. The compassion she showed to us at this very distressing time was outstanding. Angela talked everything through with us that would happen on the day leaving nothing out, so there was no surprises to upset us.

From the first contact by telephone asking for advice on costs, through meetings to understand our wishes, Angela proved helpful and knowledgeable and provided useful advice on the process of registering a death. More than that, up to the day, she was always available in person, by phone or by email to resolve queries and gently remind about forgotten options. It would have been so much harder without her.
On the day, Derek was prompt, polite and very respectful towards my dear mother. Quietly guiding us through the protocols at the crematorium.

We have been very impressed indeed with Angela Knight of the Littleover office. She is professional and appropriate, personable and likeable, and she has very good attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
We shall definitely use A.W. Lymn (preferably the Littleover office if that is still the appropriate office), when we need a funeral service again.
We have been similarly impressed with Kevin Hall. His guidance at our initial meeting with him was invaluable. The only thing he could improve is the tailcoat he wore on the day of our father's funeral. It looked as if it needed either a good clean or to be replaced with a new one.
