Although the overall experience was handled very well,I was very upset and disappointed with how my visit to mum at the chapel of rest was handled.I was told over the phone in great detail of how mums colour was changing,there was far to much detail and information given to me and I really didn’t know what I was going to walk in to.it was made worse by the lady actually pointing it out to me when I visited my mum.I felt there was no need what so ever for this to be done,I wanted to say goodbye to my beautiful mum but it was spoilt because of this.

Coop ((MT Sawrey) could not have been more helpful, considerate, flexible or adaptable whilst coordinating our mums funeral. Without exception the staff were kind and thoughtful, all underpinned with a quiet efficiency… we have always used the coop but the Ulverston office exceeded all our expectations at a time when we really need secure guidance, help and understanding.

From start to finish, the service we received from Heather, Sally, Sam and her team at Co-op Funeralcare was truly excellent. Sally in the Ulverston branch was the first person I spoke to and she set the tone for the entire experience.
Nothing was too much trouble and I was made to feel that my Mum even though she had passed away was very important and given all courtesy as she lay at rest.
Myself and my family award the Co -op Funeralcare with 6 stars.

The service was professional, and the staff were compassionate and went the extra mile. They carried the whole burden of organisation, and the family were supported throughout. The loved one being mourned was respected as an individual, and pain of loss acknowledged. I was very confident that our loved one was in safe hands.

All of the family were so pleased with the way you handled the arrangements for Dad's funeral.You made everything so easy to deal with at a time when that was what we needed the most.
A special mention must go to the hearse and limousine drivers who actually got us to the service on time and in one piece despite the most atrocious driving conditions.
A team to be proud of and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks.

This was not a straightforward funeral booking, as Suzanne's family are located at all four corners of the globe. The funeral directors were compassionate, listened and advised of all aspects.
