Steve at framwellgate funeral care was fantastic I've never dealt with a death before and found the whole process quite overwhelming at the beginning but Steve really made everything so easy, everything was explained and everything was made so simple for me. Our Co-op funeral director was wonderful. From our first meeting it was obvious that they wanted the funeral to be as we desired. We were consistently treated with gentleness, care and respect. The whole funeral went very smoothly, and we could just relax and give Mum a good send off. Would highly recommend.

I mostly met up with Steve, and Vikki also provided information. The celebrant Dan Smith was excellent as he was with my daughters funeral.

So less stressful for us & made us feel at ease the moment he walked through door
On day of funeral he was absolutely brilliant & his personality & professionalism shone through which was a big help on a difficult day

I would like to thank everyone at the framwellgate moor office for looking after with great care of my brother Ian - staff are amazing and a special thank you too Vicky for on the day of funeral she treated the whole family as one of her own - appreciate all the support you have all given us at this sad time.

The staff were very nice but the process was poor. I was told I would be called once Alec had been collected from hospital but never got the call. On the day of the funeral the humanist asked me how payment was going to be made. I was shocked this hadn’t already been agreed by you as the funeral had been previously paid for and I feel this is not a conversation I should have been having. Other than this conversation everything went well on the day.
