Standard Simple Funeral

Service includes:

This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

I am so happy that we booked my Mums funeral through the Co op. Emma at the office was very professional and caring. Will the Celebrant was amazing very relaxed but sympathetic to all our needs. Then, Fin, what a lovely guy, also knowledgeable and kind and funny. What an amazing team. Not forgetting our scattering of the ashes yesterday, thankyou. Well done Cambridge Funeral services. Wasn't at cremation so cannot give an honest review to that point.
But overall care was to be found as very good.
Ashes we requested to be returned as soon as possible which they were.

I am very upset that I was not told when my husband was cremated he had a direct funeral and after phone calls I found out my husband had been cremated a week earlier so my family missed out on a wake for him I am not at all happy about it
