Trent Valley Crematorium
About Us
Trent Valley Crematorium is a stunning building opened in July 2018, situated in the Derbyshire countryside, south-east of Derby itself. The design features glass walls which give incredible views of the countryside, while the chapel maintains an intimate atmosphere. The crematorium is open to funerals of all faiths and denominations as well as non-religious funerals. There are funeral directors throughout Derby and the surrounding areas who can help you arrange a cremation at the Trent Valley Crematorium.
Trent Valley Crematorium's chapel has seating for 140 people and for larger funerals their waiting and reception area can accommodate an extra 200 people. The entire crematorium has audio connections to the main chapel, as well as multiple screens so extra mourners can watch all of the funeral service from outside of the chapel.
Regular services last for 60 minutes and take place between Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday services are available by appointment, but are charged at a higher rate. There are no on-site memorials available to purchase, but their gardens of remembrance provide a tranquil place in which to reflect.
Opening hours for the Trent Valley Crematorium office are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday and the grounds are open from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
There is on-site parking, as well as disabled access, toilets and a hearing loop for people with hearing impairments.
