About Us
A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.

I have just used the Services at Lymn Long Eaton for the second time in 18 months. My brother and his family had just arrived from Australia for a family holiday and to spend some time with my dad, when unfortunately my dad took a tumble, just 10 days after their arrival. Due to how frail he was he didn’t have the fight in him to survive the fall. He died in hospital on the 16th September. After his death I spoke to Louise & Tom at Lymns and asked them if they could help with the funeral arrangements. They knew the family as they had carried out the arrangements for my Mum’s funeral 18 months earlier. I asked them to see if they could pull out all the stops and get the funeral arranged while my brother and his family were in the UK. We worked closely with Louise, Tom, the coroners office and Bramcote Crematorium and were able to hold the funeral service on the 6th October with our whole family there. It was a lovely service which was made even better by the professional service from the team at Lymns Long Eaton. We were even able to get some of my dad’s ashes in time for my brother to take them back to Australia. Tom sorted out all the supporting documents to ensure there were no problems en route back to Oz. Thank you to everyone at Lymns for helping us celebrate my dads life and for supporting our family. Sadly I have needed the services of AW Lymn in Long Eaton twice in the last 12 months for both my parents. Tom and Louise have been so caring and attentive to detail on both occasions, gently leading us through the decisions we needed to make, and the things we needed to do throughout what can be an overwhelming process. Meanwhile they took care of everything else in the background. Funerals were exactly as we’d requested and all the Lymn’s team involved on the day were so professional, kind and respectful. Tom and Louise are a credit to the company honestly this was our first encounter with Lymns and can wholeheartedly say the service and personable touches of the care that was offered was top notch , nothing was too much trouble and never felt rushed. Everything on the lead up to to dad's final journey a d on the day was so seamless and no hiccups faults whi h was amazing. The celebrant was fabulous and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and I cant quite believe that he went above and beyond with the gaelic on the day .
If we had to use your services again without a doubt I would and definitely would recommend long eaton .

Did everything we asked for and more. Great throughout the whole process. Both Louise and Tom (Long Eaton) were willing to help at any time.
