My dealings with Peter and Michele where I found all aspects of the procedure it was such a change to deal with people who were totally professional,caring,reliable and so well turned out on the day of the funeral.
Such a good experience at a difficult time. Also all the communication was undertaken remotely.

The passing of a close relative is always an upsetting and stressful time for anyone. Knowing that Peter and his team are always at hand to deal with any query or matter, no matter whether large or relatively trivial, is a huge burden lifted. The value of Peter's professional, yet friendly, personable nature, can not be over estimated. As a family, we cannot thank Pater and his staff enough for everything they did for us before the funeral and on the day, and we would not hesitate for one moment to recommend Warburtons Funeralcare to anyone who needs their services. Peter Kelly is an asset , such a nice man , can’t do enough for you . Once watched Peter do a funeral with him walking in front with his cane , very quirky just what I’d want .

The service provided by Peter, Suzanne and the team at Warburton's Funeralcare was outstanding; from practical advice in coordinating the many elements of the funeral service at church and the burial ceremony afterwards, to the faultless timing of the hearse and limousine for the family and the respectful care shown throughout for my father. I shall never forget the striking image of Peter leading the procession of cars through the centre of Todmorden, making the traffic give way and inspiring the people who were enjoying a drink outside in the sunshine to stand up to show their respect as the hearse passed by. Without a doubt they helped to make what was always going to be a sad day also a day of celebration of dad's life.

I recently held my mother's funeral at Warburton's in Todmorden, and I held my father's at the same place in 2017. The quality of customer service received for both was outstanding. The team, led by Peter Kelly, are compassionate, kind and super professional. The chapel at Warburton's is beautiful -- such a sense of peace and calm. The arrangements running up to both funerals, from the difficult time of collecting my parents' bodies, to the funerals themselves, were smooth and filled with care and support for me and my family. Peter and the team went to great efforts to always be available when I needed them, despite being very busy with other families. They worked with me to ensure the funerals were perfect, sensitively making suggestions and always patient with my many questions and changes to format. My family and I could not have asked for more.

Unattended cremation of my Father. Was told that we would be given the cremation date in advance so that we could think of him. We were not informed in advance, but three days AFTERWARDS because the director "Didn't get chance" to phone to tell us. We were asked to arrange an appointment to collect the ashes, but when I rang to arrange this, I was told that the ashes had not even been retrieved from the crematorium.
Really feel that there was a breach of their duty of care towards my family. Complaint made to the Co-Op.

The compassion and support given by all at this difficult time certainly helped myself and my family. One of the great comforts was being able to visit Guy after being advised to have him embalmed and see him looking like my beloved husband again as my last memory was seeing his body deteriate dramatically within becoming ill four weeks earlier and him suffering with so much pain. He received the care that he truly deserved, and I, along with our families, are truly thankful to all at Warburton Funeral Care.
