We can’t thank Cherish Funeral Directors enough! They are truly amazing people! 

They looked after my husband Jimmy with such elegant and dignity! So professional. 

We shopped around because we was on a budget because Jimmy died suddenly and we found Cherish to be the lowest price! And the quality and standards were the highest of the highest. 

Carol the lady in the office really looked after us from start to finish and Tim the Funeral Director looked after us in the day and he worked really hard to make sure the day ran smoothly! Especially as we had over 300 people attend my husbands funeral. 

All my friends and family are still talk about the order of services as they was out of this world. Simply amazing!  We’ve never seen anything like them before! Totally different! Totally unique! 

Do I want to organise another funeral? No. But if I did. I would certainly go back to Cherish Funeral Directors! And I would highly recommended to other people as well. 

Thank you Tim, Carol and all the Cherish team for looking after my husband Jimmy and also me and my children.

I cannot thank Cherish enough for the kindness and compassion shown to us at such a sad and difficult time. Carol was excellent, so patient and caring, all of my late Mums wishes were made possible and nothing was too much trouble. On the day of Mums funeral, Matt was very attentive and made us all feel at ease. We couldn’t of wished for a better company to direct my Mums funeral. Outstanding service and quality. Its a very difficult time, especially if it's a new experience. Our family were impressed with how everything went, Cherish were very professional on the day of the funeral and they did my mum proud. I can’t fault the service that was provided, amazing from start to finish. Cherish have shown compassion and support throughout the entire planning process seeing to every need we had, most of all paying attention to even the smallest of details. All the staff have been fantastic going above and beyond for us, my dad had the send off of a king which is what he was to us and that is all thanks to Cherish for making this very sad day a special one. I can’t thank you all enough.

Carol was wonderful! Frank’s funeral was on the hottest day ever recorded but it all went off smoothly. A taxi was ordered so that I didn’t have to struggle from my wheelchair, Carol picked up my dog so that he could say goodbye to Frank without burning his paws.  The pall bearers wore emerald green ties and handkerchief to commemorate Frank’s love of his native Ireland and his coffin was draped in an Irish flag! His O of S was perfectly adorned with Irish emblems and she made sure his beloved dog, Jethro, was heavily featured. All done with kindness and sympathy for a grieving woman. I highly recommend this funeral services and if I have another funeral to organise, I will definitely go back to cherish!

The service i received from cherish was amazing. So friendly and understanding . They helped me with the whole funeral and took all the stress out of it. Nothing was to much trouble and they gave advice with things i was unsure of. Hopefully i never have to plan another funeral but if i do i will use these again. Cant recommend these guys enough. It was all I could have hoped for. Many of those who attended the funeral have expressed their opinions of the occasion and not one has had a derogatory comment to make. I would seriously recommend your funeral Company to anybody needing the best service for their loved ones.

I cannot praise the service we received from Cherish highly enough. When Dad died and then Mum a few weeks later, their whole conduct from start to finish was marvellous. They were professional and approachable and couldn't have done more. They even provided Mum and Dad with a 'double bay' at the Chapel of Rest so that they could be together. They arranged a double funeral for us which went perfectly and Melvin, who conducted the celebrant, couldn't have given us more of his time to ensure that the music, poems and readings were all right and was happy to make any final tweaks we wanted to ensure that everything was how we wanted it on the day, which it was. Special thanks must go too to Carol who was wonderfully personal and whose help and support was so very much appreciated and to Tim who was always on the end of the phone and who, with his colleagues on the day of the funeral were so professional and supportive. I can't thank them enough.

From my very first contact with Cherish I felt very comfortable and at ease with the service received and the wonderful team in Swadlincote. The packages were clear and complete, very fairly priced, included everything we had wanted for our service and beyond.

The team were just incredible I can not fault them at all - from start to finish, they were all so kind, helpful, supportive and professional, they really did make the whole process feel a lot less daunting.

Above all else my wonderful Aunt was taken care of and given the most beautiful and perfectly fitting farewell.

The Cherish team are fantastic! They are all so caring, making the whole process smooth during this difficult time.

The care they provided to my son was outstanding, giving my wife and I reassurance he was in the right place.

They were accessible and quick to respond to all questions and requests over the telephone. Quick to follow up on any details that were outstanding.

On the funeral day, the whole team were so professional and empathetic. They guided me through each part so I felt comfortable, and the guests were too.

An amazing send off fir my Dad with the help of Tim and his team. Even stopped so we could do a walk behind the horses as we passed my Dads favourite place. Highly recommended.
