This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

The staff at the Co-op Funeral care could not be any more helpful than they were. Pauline was so helpful when my stepdad caught Covid. She rearranged my mums funeral for the next week and she looked after the flowers for us, keeping them in a cool place and keeping them watered so they still looked fresh. She was do caring towards my stepdad and myself.

Great service from co-op Livingston. Staff were all friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They made the whole process as stress-free as possible, the funeral arrangements were perfect, just what my husband would have wanted.

From the initial phone call to the concluding meeting, the services provided by Jamie Rafferty were of an exceptional standard. Professionalism and care / sympathy were demonstrated throughout and I was kept fully informed about all which was happening and of next steps. The support could not have been better.

The only down side was a slight issue which was encountered by my wife when visiting the Bathgate office … I believe this is being addressed but have still to receive the promised feedback.

I cannot put into words the way the Coop handled my husbands cremation. Pauline was really lovely and easy to talk to. She was professional throughout however I will never forget how she was with myself and my family it was like having a new best friend. She’s an asset to the company.
Jamie was amazing as well he 100% had to take charge of my husbands day or I would have ran back upstairs and buried my head under my quilt.
The whole team are amazing that’s why I have went with the Coop for my mum’s cremation.
I had a cremation plan with the coop which was one of the best things I’ve ever done.
