Very sympathetic, understanding and supportive through a difficult time. There was no hard sell and all staff acted with the utmost professionalism and dignity. The web link did not work on the day of the funeral which was very disappointing for some of my relatives living abroad but this was not through any fault of the funeral directors but an issue with the local authority however every effort was made to help find an alternative solution.

After having a very poor experience with a Co-op franchise many years ago, I swore I wouldn’t use the Co-op again. But friends recommended this coastal franchise, combining North Shields, Whitley Bay and Blyth and I’m so glad I listened to them.  Kelly (based in Blyth) and Shirley (in Whitley Bay) have completely restored my faith. They dealt with my family with great professionalism, empathy and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble ( even down to Kelly’s offer to keep an eye on our dog during the funeral service, an offer we didn't need in the end, but was most appreciated!) My aunt’s funeral went without a hitch and we certainly felt looked after all the way through.  Thank you ladies, for everything you did for us.
