seemed to think they were in the family mediation business rather than actually cremating a person according to their legally expressed wishes. Stick to what you advertise you do, rather than indulging in stupid box ticking exercises that I'd already discussed with another department.....or better yet, speak to each other seeing as mediation is obviously your thing!

Overall, the service was OK. In some areas it was very good but I was expecting something better from the Coop.

I felt that attention on the family was patchy. For example, I had to resend emails as they either had not been forwarded to the relevant person (Sue) from the funeral service's central mailbox or had simply got mislaid.

The biggest disappointment was at Bradwell crematorium. The "entrance music" happened after the coffin had been taken into the chapel and people were seated. The photographic tribute to music, which we've been charged £71 for didn't actually happen - at the service we were told by the funeral director and priest we couldn't have photos and music at the same time, so the photographic tribute had to be done without music, whilst I was reading the eulogy! I didn't get to see the photo tribute being played at my Mum's funeral as it was behind me whilst I was reading the eulogy. I was very disappointed with that. This wasn't how it was sold on your website. Neither did I actually see my Mum's coffin once inside the chapel as it was taken in ahead whilst we were all waiting to go into the chapel and tucked away around the side.
We were late going into the chapel through no fault of ours. Some of the elderly mourners got very cold waiting outside and I feel we were hurried out afterwards to make up time for the next funeral.
The material of the coffin itself (cherry) looked nothing like it did in the brochure or online. As it happened, we preferred it to that in the pictures so that was OK but maybe some samples of the wood would have been helpful as well as fabric samples for the coffin lining, given that we were encouraged to attend the funeral offices at Wolstanton in person.
I felt the Order of Service should have been proof read more thoroughly before it was sent to me. I had to bounce it back a couple of times before it got to the final version.
I dont know where Mums ashes are. Presumably back with the Coop and available for collection but nobody has told me.

We were delighted with the flowers for the top of the coffin. The florist did a great job. We were also pleased that Sue was able to find a solution to making one of the pieces of music we had chosen available via burning it to a CD from utube because it wasn't available on your system. The journey to the crem. from Mum's home and the cars all went well.
Overall it was OK but not as polished as I was expecting.

HAYLEY and the rest of Coop's staff have been wonderful, caring and considerate during the last few weeks.
I cannot thank Hayley enough for her support and kinds words, steering me through my heartbreak, making sure I was OK and that everything was perfect for my mum.. Especially our chosen celebrant Kim, words can't describe this wonderful lady, she was perfect and I'll be forever grateful for her support.

Wayne was absolutely amazing.  He dealt with all the details superbly, was always there when we needed him and made the whole experience very personal.  He understood our specific requirements and our wishes for a very personal funeral and provided all the support and advice we needed so we were able to lead the service ourselves.  The tone he set was perfect. I am so thankful to Wayne and the other co-op staff.

what can we say other than excellent, they couldn't do enough for us has a family for our beautiful mum, who passed away 28th October, from Steph picking our mum up from the home to the day of mum's funeral. They made our mum look like the glamours Queen she was. and Dan was excellent couldn't have wished for a better funeral director. They just said and did all the right things, it wasn't an effort it just come natural, If you want your Loved one cared for after they pass this is the place to take them cant thank Dan and Steph enough for all there kind words. Thank-you very much,

The service we received was absolutely first class all round. We were very impressed with Jane, Hayley and Wayne who all displayed utmost professionalism, warmth and sensitivity. A job well done and we will not hesitate to recommend the Co-op funeral service in Wolstanton.

Overall all the funeral details were as I requested, I was very satisfied with the arrangements. The memorial cards were much smaller than
