Mum's funeral was conducted with care and compassion from beginning to end. Nothing was too much trouble and when we were struggling to decide we given impartial advice to help us make those difficult choices. We have no hesitation in recommending your services or using them in the future.

My only criticism would be the poor volume of the music at the Crematorium. The last piece was virtually inaudible and for a tribute to my husband who was a real devotee of classical music it was disappointing.

Coop Funeral Care exceeded our expectations. Following my mother's passing and in the lead up to the funeral, we were treated with care, consideration and professionalism. Sean Allen was very helpful and reassuring, which took a lot of pressure off our family. He was in regular communication with us, liaised well with the priest and was always prepared to answer questions.

I found the people from the Co-op funeral care extremely professional and respectful.
I would like to especially mention Sean Allen who I dealt with arranging the funeral of my late friend Joan Tetley. He was very understanding and helpful in planning the funeral.
I found waiting five weeks for the funeral to take place quite difficult. However this arrangement was completely out of Sean's hands as we were at the mercy of the crematorium appointments.
I would recommend the Co-op and particularly the funeral director Sean Allen to anyone who is in the unfortunate position of needing to arrange a funeral.

Claire looked after us from our first visit to when we collected the flowers on the day after the funeral. Really comforting and patient while still helping us to make decisions and agree our full requirements. She was great!

I arranged Mum’s care with John Shiels, he was very kind and compassionate. Nothing was too much for him, he explained everything and kept in regular contact with me. He explained he couldn’t be with us on the day but Clare called me to introduce herself and see if I had any questions. She definitely looked after us on the day. Co-op Funeralcare are outstanding, every single person who works there treated me with kindness. It was a difficult thing to organise but they did Mum proud. I can’t recommend them enough.

Very helpful staff, and very sensitive to all our needs as husband and family grieving the loss of a dear wife and mother. On the day of the funeral everything went well, partly due to their professionalism and understanding.
