After the sad passing of my Wife I decided to have the Co op Funeral to carry out my wife's wishes of a Direct Cremation, I contacted them and spoke to Tanya who was more than helpful and put me at my ease.

They arranged everything to my satisfaction and carried it out with dignity making it easier for me in my time of sadness.

I used the co-op funeral service and everything from first going to see them about my partner's funeral right through to the actual day of the it they couldn't do enough for me.

I had never arranged a funeral before and was dreading it.
No need- I was looked after from the moment I called to make the appointment throughout the whole process. I no longer felt alone.
The entire  team were magnificent - (Ian is second to none!) my late Dad and I could not have been in better hands. 
Thanks too to John and his team on the day. 
You all make the worst times bearable. 🥰

So helpful from phoning to say we would like them to do the funeral of my dad to actually doing the funeral. Everything went to plan. From the order of service to the hymns we asked for etc. Would use them again if needed again. X X thanks for everything. X X

Good service, but, for me, not to the standards in other reviews. Promised call day before funeral to confirm details did not happen. But all went as expected.

A great team who make it as easy as possible to come to decisions when emotions are high, there was no pressure to up sell just encouraged to think about what the deceased and we wanted.  We requested due to holidays of some mourners an early a date as possible, instantly a call was made with options for us to choose.  The sample service sheet emailed to us so we could confirm or change the layout and an added picture of a camera on the front inserted (referencing the deceased hobby) was a wonderful thoughtful touch by John.  Nothing was to much trouble and they even gave us a bill so the estate would pay the funeral while we were awaiting probate.  I will say we have used the Coop several times in the last few years and have never been disappointed.  We were very grateful to the team for making the planning as simple and painless as in the circumstances it could be.
