Words cannot express how wonderful these people are. Losing my 30 year old son I was adrift in grief.
These wonderful people walked through it bit by bit even offering counselling.
I will plan my funeral with them now and so will my husband.

From start to finish the service given by the Coop Funeral care in Penistone and Barnsley was faultless. I was treated with sympathy and respect throughout. It’s such a daunting task arranging a funeral but my every worry was taken away and dealt with and that overwhelming feeling  of loss was replaced by a calmness I never thought I would have. This was entirely due to the professionalism of the staff. In particular Candice and my amazing Funeral Director Holly. Thank you so much you made everything perfect

The whole family felt that not only was John treated with the care and respect he deserved, but the support given to us helped us through a very difficult day. Our Funeral Director, Ron, was outstanding in his care and compassion and was always there to help us in any way he could, sparing no effort in following our wishes.

If there is such a category this service was "better than just excellent". From my first call that my wife had died at home and needed to be transferred to their care, the response has always been impeccable, swift and "never too much trouble".
In particular "Holly" our "Funeral Director" was superb, guiding me through what was a novel situation and supporting me emotionally through this saddest of times with utmost empathy. The rest of the "team" have all been so helpful with every little issue. I would unhesitatingly recommend anyone to use "The Coop" when they have to make such arrangements.

The staff at the Huddersfield Road branch of the co-op funeral care are very pleasant,caring and very helpful in giving advice and carrying out the requests of the bereaved persons representative. They go the extra mile whenever they can. I am very happy to give a personal support for them. I have used them twice now and won't hesitate to call them again if required in the future.
