This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

It was a difficult period for me and my family having 2 deaths within 11 days of each other. Kirsty was very considerate of this, very helpful all the way and kept me informed throughout. Donna who checked on me the day before the funeral and was with us on the day was also very professional and had planned the day with precision. Thanks to all at Co-op Funeralcare.

I cannot fault Coop Funeralcare. They handled my mum’s funeral with care respect and dignity. Considering I was communicating with two different branches (One near my home and one near my mum’s home) the communication was seamless. They organised everything for me. The three members of staff I dealt with were excellent. The flowers they provided were truly beautiful. My only criticism would be on the day of interment of my mum’s ashes was that the cemetery staff in Trealaw Cemetery were inconsiderate and rushed off before I could get my car to follow them. I know this was not down to Coop staff, but is something they need to be aware of in case this happens to another grieving family.

Kirsty made the whole experience easy. I never felt stressed about the funeral as she guided me through it all. So much so that my husband and I have taken out funeral plans with the coop to ensure our children have the same experience when the time comes.

Excellent service overall. Professional, helpful and friendly. The minister was second to none and was not only incredibly thoughtful but also compassionate and extremely friendly. He even rang afterwards to check up on the family. Would highly recommend.

thank you to both Kirsty and Donna for supporting me and my family through this sad time with great sympathy and lots of humour, which i personally needed. on the day all staff at the funeral home were professional but still friendly. thank you all especially Kirsty and Donna for making it easier than i expected as nothing was too much trouble.
