This is what Co-op Funeralcare offer as part of their Simple Funeral:

They will remove your loved one from their place of death into their care within a 50 mile radius
If death occurs out of normal working hours, at home or in a care home, they will remove your loved one into their care, out of hours, at no extra cost
They will prepare, care for and dress your loved one in a gown to match the interior of their Basic Coffin
Your loved one will rest in their mortuary facility, or if required, a private rest room in their funeral home
You’ll be able to visit your loved one during normal working hours at no additional charge
They will transport your loved one from the funeral home to the crematorium or burial site in a ceremonial vehicle of their choice
On the day of the funeral, a wheeled bier will be used or the family can bear the coffin
They will make all necessary arrangements for a dignified funeral
Your funeral director will be there at the funeral to support and guide you through the funeral

We were very pleased with every aspect my father’s funeral. Susan and Linda were so helpful and patient when we were deciding how best to celebrate his life, even accommodating last minute changes with no issue. Pamela was our funeral director on the day and she looked after us beautifully and made sure everything went smoothly. It was a sad occasion but it went without a hitch and allowed us to concentrate on saying goodbye. We would definitely recommend Walter Johnston Funeralcare. Everything was done sensitively, in a professional manner, nothing was too much trouble and we are very grateful.

Pamela dealt with all our needs with sensitivity. She has a gentle, calming manner. Nothing was too much trouble to her. She thought of everything. We were also so happy with the care taken over my husband when we went to see him. It has left us with a happy memory as opposed to how he was when he left us.
Pamela thought about all the small details that we were too upset to think about, as an example she made two small posies for us taken from the funeral flowers. She is such a special person.
