Totally professional but gave me great comfort in their style of grief management. I was treated like a real person suffering real pain. I can never thank Lara enough to the standard of help she gave me. In the mess of my depression. She was a shining light. I almost feel after the event that Lara and the team are almost friends for such a short period time.

I can't thank Lara enough for making an upsetting and stressful time a lot easier for me. Not only was she sympathetic and friendly, she understood what I wanted for the service and went above and beyond to make sure that it was perfect. Gordon was very supportive at the crematorium, and at the interment of my father's ashes. They and the pallbearers are a credit to the business. Thank you all for everything that you did, it's greatly appreciated.

It's taken me a while to be able to pen something of substance in reply to the aid the staff at CC James provided in organising, preparing and curating the funeral for my mother Athene English.

I honestly cannot thank or recommend this company enough.

The day itself went seamlessly and the undertaking service provided was top notch, with the most beautifully crafted wild flower decorations to my mothers coffin.

There were a lot of unknowns to me with this funeral, being the first time I have ever had to organise one.
It was a daunting time, but the care, love and support both Lara and Gordon showed me has been unparalleled.

At not time did I feel pressured or rushed on a decision. The processes were outlined clearly and many hours were given by both to be sure that my mothers final days on this earth were the most dignified she could have. They listened to all I had to say, and in all respects were a shoulder to lean on when I needed it the most.

The service you have provided to both myself and my wider family is an invaluable one without a doubt.

I honestly cannot thank you all enough for this.

I received such an amazing service from Lara and the team at C.C James. Having never organised a funeral before it was a daunting task. But they were there to help every step of the way and guided me not only with the service but any questions i had in general. Extremely friendly and down to earth people. The service for my mum was a beautiful tribute to her life.

Arranging a funeral is an extremely emotional and stressful time; at a time when the next of kin and their family feel less able to cope with such a daunting task. However at our first meeting with Lara Williams, the Funeral Director, at C C James she completed all the necessary forms and outlined the services that they provide, which largely put our minds at ease. On the day of the funeral everything went smoothly thanks to the meticulous planning of the team at C C James Ltd. I and my family are also very grateful to them for the sensitive and emotional support that they provided.

CC James showed the perfect mix of compassion and efficiency. They never kept us waiting for clarification of any of our questions, updated us and talked us through every step, and everything on the day of the funeral was exactly as planned. We felt that the whole experience was in safe hands, and the human touch of wanting to know about Mum before discussing the details of the funeral was a really lovely touch. The funeral itself was exactly what we wanted, not least because of CC James's ability to simplify, clarify, and carry out an excellent service.
