Gillotts handled my fathers funeral two years ago and I had no hesitation in using them again when my mother passed. They take all the stress and worry out of the process, everything literally runs like clockwork and we are so gratefull to them. I cannot prause them highly enough.

I hardly have the right words to describe how good the team at Gillotts, Heanor is.
My late Father had the funeral I wanted for him in every small detail.
The whole team is friendly, professional and very efficient. More than that they are kind, empathetic and understanding during difficult times.
They also work with equally great celebrants and florists. I have absolutely no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Gillotts Heanor. Huge thanks to everyone who had a part in my Dad's funeral.

We couldn't have asked for a more professional, caring service for our beloved mum/nana.
Anthony and the team went above and beyond for us, even arranging for my daughter to do her Nana's hair like she did every week. Nothing was too much trouble and mum was buried along with dad, whose funeral was also arranged with the same level of care and understanding 12 years previously.
Could not fault what was done for us as family on either occasion and can't thank the team enough.

Sadly, since early 2000, our family have needed to call on the services of Gillotts funeral services (Heanor Branch) on quite a number of occasions, the most recent being April/May 2025. The service they provided, as always, was exceedingly professional and caring. Our thoughts and wishes were sensitively discussed and implemented, resulting in a lovely celebration of life funeral for our 92 year old mum. Many thanks.

The personal service that was provided by Gillotts was second to none.  Compassion, empathy and respect by all the staff, is only a few of the words that I could use, to describe the experience we as a family had from them. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went over and above to accommodate our requests when dealing with my late father. I would recommend them to anyone who has the need for a first class service at such awful times.

Absolutely amazing, catered for all our needs, dealt with ordering the flowers for us, such a caring company, exceptional, caring people, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Gillotts to anyone who wanted a funeral with that extra special care, as they do.
