We as a family found Lymns's fantastic. They were caring and sorted everything for us from start to finish. The day of the service Louise and her colleagues made sure everything was perfect for my dad. It made a very difficult time a lot easier. Lymn’s treated us very well, with a professional manner and personal touch. They were attentive to our needs. They sat with us, explaining all the necessary steps and other options available and their cost, step-by-step. We never felt rushed; they gave us our own time in which to decide matters. They were available on the phone anytime and even came out to us on a home visit. Ourselves, the rest of the family and friends all thought that they provided a service that was a fitting tribute to our loved one and was very professionally conducted.
A.W. Lymn's Long Eaton office is located at Lime Grove in Long Eaton, which is in peaceful surroundings inside the cemetery gates at West Park.
The site was purchased from Dick Webb funeral service in 1981 and opened as an A. W. Lymn funeral home in June 1982.
The building was the local public mortuary and features an unusual copper roof. As well as a large reception area, the premises features family rooms, visiting rooms, funeral cars from A.W. Lymn's fleet and parking on the outside, and it was completely refurbished in 2013.
The funeral home is run by funeral director Louise Bramman and is open Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you need assistance or to meet with a funeral director after hours please call the telephone number, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Long Eaton and its surrounding area including Breaston, Castle Donington, Chilwell, Draycott, Hathern, Kegworth, Sawley, Sutton Bonnington, Toton and beyond.
Nigel Lymn Rose, along with his sister Jackie and his son Matthew, manages A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service, ensuring all families receive excellent care at all times.

Unfortunately while we were happy with most of the service we received from Lymns, we did feel very rushed out of the Church and onto the crematorium. We didn't get chance to talk to anyone who attended and several people weren't able to get to the crematorium in time and ended up arriving as we left again.

We are however sorry to hear that you felt rushed at the end of the Church service and that some of the mourners did not make it to the crematorium in time. Unfortunately it would appear that the Church service ran for longer than Louise had anticipated it would when she discussed the service with you and made the bookings, and this then impacted upon the time available for you to speak with those in attendance and make the journey between the two locations. Louise was lovely, very professional and kind. They did a brilliant,efficient job and everything went smoothly. I could not fault anything and would recommend them to anybody. When my brother and I first met Louise she made us feel very comfortable,she asked us what we would like and not what we should have. We knew straight away we had made the right decision using A W Lymn. Thank you very much for making our sad day go do well.

I cannot fault anything Lymns funeral directors have done, they made the whole process painless to a degree, I have never had to organise a funeral before, I no idea where to start. Lymns took all the stress off my shoulders and were very professional.
